Cirque’ du Beaute

In celebration of Jyl Craven Hair Colour Studio’s 10 year anniversary and L’Oreal Professionnel’s 100 year anniversary, the two beauty companies will join forces to unveil Cirque’ du Beaute’ a cocktail event, silent auction, hair/fashion show and dance after party. Highlights of the evening will include aerial performances, fashion show with designs featured by Vanessa Vinci, burlesque performances by The Garter Tease Dolls, fantasy inspired hair show styled by Jyl Craven Hair Colour Studio and L’Oreal Professionnel platform artists and performances by show MC and Atlanta’s own Las Vegas showgirl, Jazelle.

Sadie & Nancy will be part of the (r)Evoutions events at Spring4th July 23-25, performing an act to “Brother, Can You Spare A Dime.”

The Thursday and Friday shows are $15 at the door ($12 in costume).

Thursday: The Vaudevillian Carnivale

An evening of creative collaborations & spontaneous happenings featuring Armitage Shanks the Carney Preacher, Mezmer Society, Blast-Off Burlesque, Guerrilla Aerial, Cirkus Morpheus, Twinflame, and DJ Tom Harvey.

And Friday: (r)Evolutions: A Steampunk Circus Fairytale

A post-apocalypic allegorical fairytale for the modern era, featuring The Extraordinary Contraptions, Mezmer Society, Armitage Shanks, Blast-Off Burlesque, Guerrilla Aerial, Cirkus Morpheus, Twinflame, and DJ Tom Harvey.

Saturday is the Mysterian Masquerade Ball with performances from Isomorpheus, DJ Tom Harvey, Twinflame, Armitage Shanks, Extraordinary Contraptions and the Hellblinki Sextet.

Each day, there are several workshops available too… everything from dance to character development to writing.

Big Tuna: Alcove’s 6th Anniversary Party

Friday, July 10th, Alcove Contemporary Art Gallery is celebrating its sixth anniversary with the opening of “BIG TUNA.” From 7-12 PM, there will be a great party paying tribute to the genius of David Lynch.

Guerrilla Aerial will be there to provide some ambient aerial goodness throughout the evening. Come check it out.
